How Do You Cut Your Sandwiches? [POLL]

I was making my son lunch this morning, so he could take it to work, and was beginning to cut his sandwiches and thought, ok, how should I cut them? And no silly, I wasn't thinking should I use a knife, a chainsaw or machete!

It was more of should I cut it vertically, just up and down right in the middle, or should I cut it diagonally?

I think 95% of the time I just go up and down, but when I worked in hotels and restaurants I was always taught to cut a sandwich diagonally!

So think for a second, and answer the poll. You probably have to think because the way you cut your sandwich is probably instinctive!
