Holy Flock of Turkeys!

What can you say? Listeners and viewers in Eastern Maine are the absolute best! Our sister station Z107.3 just completed it's annual Free the Z Turkey Drive collecting a record breaking 3568 turkeys, and WABI's Turkey Telethon collected 2095 turkeys! All of those turkeys will be given to Manna Ministries so friends and neighbors are able to enjoy a happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks to all those at Townsquare Media and WABI behind the scenes who made the turkey drives so successful! The need though continues, and next week, Mike and Mike and our friends at Blueberry Broadcasting will be camped out at the Bangor Mall Monday through Wednesday collecting canned goods, trying to fill a truck for Manna. Our sister station WWMJ I-95 continues their food drive, and will be in Milbridge on Friday, November 20th.,

The need is so great! Thanks to everyone who contributed! Hopefully some day, we won't need to do turkey drives because everyone will have enough food, but until then, we are so lucky to know that there are so many generous Mainers who are willing to step up and help those in need!
