High Surf Advisory in Effect Thursday Afternoon-Friday Night
There's a high surf advisory in effect for Coastal Hancock and Washington Counties from 2PM on Thursday, October 10th until 8 PM on Friday, October 11th.
High Tide on Thursday, October 10th is at 9:39 PM.
Surf height is expected to be 5 to 8 feet. With a high surf advisory, everyone is reminded that large waves can present a danger to people on rocks above the water. Stay away from rock outcrops along the shoreline exposed to ocean waves as waves can easily sweep people into the cold ocean water.
