Happy Father's Day to all the Dads! I had a blessed Father's Day, as I was able to spend it with my two sons, Craig and Collin and my wife Bonnie and talked to my Dad and Mom today.

My son Collin, who will be 24 in 11 days posted these pictures to my Facebook page. The top one was from Kindergarten I think. If that's the case, I would have be 36 or 37, but here's what he thought! It reminds me of when I was little, and in the local paper I was asked something about the President and my Dad, and I said that my Dad made more money than the President! Needless to say my father received some winks and a few nods from our neighbors and I think the IRS audited him!

I love the saying that being a father is easy, it's being a Dad that's hard work. Think about it, a Dad is there whenever, whether it's the middle of the night, the morning, or anytime in between. He fixes things, whether it be broken hearts, bruised egos, or material things. He kisses boo-boos and throws baseballs. If you're lucky enough to have a Dad in your life, I hope you call and thank him, and tell him you love him.

Your father is biological. He and your mother created you. Your Dad though, whether it's your biological father, or someone else who has taken on the role of Dad in your life, that's a special person! To that person, Happy Dad's Day!
