HCTC’s Culinary Program Serves up Deliciousness in Brookside Restaurant [PHOTOS]

On Wednesday, November 5th Hancock County Technical Center's Culinary Program served up a delicious buffet in their Brookside Restaurant at HCTC on the Boggy Brook Road in Ellsworth.

Lunch was served between Noon and 1:15 and was only $13.00 including tax.

On the menu was

• Roast Beef au just, carved by a student
• Barbecue Chicken with corn bread
• Vegetarian Broccoli Sesame stir fry
• Haddock Chowder
• Steamed Ginger Rice
• Twice Baked Potatoes
• Salad Bar
• Homemade Rolls
• Pumpkin Rolls and Assorted Pies for Dessert with freshly made whipped cream

It was delicious! There are 11 students in the afternoon programs and 14 students in the morning program and they have been working the last couple of days baking and preparing for the meal. They set the tables, cleared the tables, served on the line, did the dishes. It was just like a professional restaurant.

If you missed today, the next buffet will be on Wednesday, November 12th. That buffet is just $9.00 per person. Here's what's on the menu for the 12th!

They accept cash or check.

HCTC has students from Ellsworth, Bucksport, Deer Isle-Stonington, MDI, GSA, and Sumner as well as some home-school students.
