Update - The Hancock County Sheriff's Department reported that on June 29th Mr. Davis turned himself in at the Hancock County Jail and is now in custody.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is searching for Sean Davis, 30, from Hancock.

On Sunday, June 27, the Sheriff's Department responded to a complaint of domestic assault but were unable to locate Davis.

On Monday, Lt. Chris Thornton, Deputy Jeff McFarland and Deputy Dana Austin along with members of the Ellsworth Police Department and Maine State Police responded to the same address, after receiving a tip that Davis was there. It's reported that while there, Davis allegedly slashed the tires of a vehicle that his children were in, and then fled the area again.

Davis is currently wanted for domestic assault, two counts of violation of conditions of release as well as criminal mischief.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office asks that if you know of Davis' location, please call your local police department or the Hancock County Sheriff's Office at 667-7575.
