At the groundbreaking and land blessing you'll be able to Meet Sonia, the home beneficiary and hear her story of becoming a Habitat homeowner. You'll also be able to meet Habitat staff, Board members and key volunteers. Light refreshments will be available.

Sherry Billings, the Executive Director for Hancock County Habitat for Humanity said "This simple energy efficient home has been designed to meet Sonia's housing needs now and into the future. We had planned this home to be built last year but infrastructure issues delayed us. We are so excited to work alongside Sonia to build her home, the 21st for our local affiliate!"
