GSA Knocks Ellsworth Baseball From the Ranks of the Unbeaten 3-1
On a cold, wet windy Friday afternoon, the GSA Eagles knocked the Ellsworth Eagles from the ranks of the unbeaten, by the score of 3-1 in Blue Hill.
Conner Wagstaff started the game for Ellsworth, throwing 5.2 innings. He allowed 3 hits, striking out 12. He walked 3 and the 3 runs he allowed were all unearned. Jackson Curtis got the final out for Ellsworth striking out a batter.
Garrett Parker started the game for GSA, throwing 6 innings for the win. He struck out 10 and walked 3, allowing 3 hits. Memphis Parker pitched the 7th, striking out 2, walking 1 and allowing 1 hit for the save.
Ellsworth only had 4 hits. Jackson Curtis had 2 singles. Hunter Curtis had a double and Matt Burnett had a single.
