Gorgeous Tipper Our SPCA of Hancock County Pet of the Week
Gorgeous, golden-eyed Tipper is a lovely Siamese seal-point and white shorthair cat who is in need of a home.
She’s mature at 11 years old, so she knows what she likes and what she doesn’t. Her favorite things? Head and chin scratches as well as treats.
She is a bit overweight and may require further checkups at the vet after adoption, which is not uncommon in kitties of her age. Tipper is not terribly fond of other animals; although she can tolerate other cats, she would likely be happiest as a single kitty. On the other hand, she has no love for dogs, so no doggy friends for this gal.
Tipper can be quite loving and personable on her own terms, but because she knows her own mind and does not want to be touched in certain areas, we do not recommend her to homes with small children that are still learning to give animals boundaries.
Tipper would LOVE to be someone’s stay-at-home companion, whether that’s to a fellow senior or to someone who works from home. When you are in her good graces and experience her fairy kisses, you’ll be totally in love with this beauty as well.
The SPCA of Hancock County serves Ellsworth, Mount Desert Island and beyond, and is still operating by appointment only for the safety of the animals, as well as visitors and staff. If you are looking to adopt, please check their website where they have an adoption application and the available animals listed. For general inquiries, please call them at 207-667-8088, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or send them a Facebook message. The shelter is located on Route 3 in Trenton.
