You're invited to have a great time while helping the Jesup Memorial Library with Ocean’s 1911, a two-hour sunset trip on Saturday, June 20, aboard the Acadian Nature Cruise on Frenchman Bay. See the sights including: Champlain Mountain, where the granite from George Dorr’s quarry became the foundation of the library building in 1911, the Porcupine Islands, Egg Rock Lighthouse, grand houses, and maybe some wildlife from the water. All while enjoying fabulous food, beer and wine.

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased online at www.jesuplibrary.org or in person at the library in Bar Harbor.  The boat departs at 6 p.m. from the dock at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel. Space is limited for this fun evening!  For more information, please call  the Jesup, at 207-288-4245.

The Jesup is a private nonprofit that has served as the public library for the town of Bar Harbor since the library opened its doors in 1911. However, the town provides less than 5% of the funds needed by the library to operate each year.  This cruise is one of the fun ways that you can help the Jesup fill that gap.
