What To Expect At May's Friends In Action Lunches

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for May 2025!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action are asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

Thursday, May 1st - Pulled Pork Sliders, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert.
Tuesday, May 6th - Black Pepper Chicken, Rice, Carrots, Apples and Dessert
Thursday, May 8th - Meatball Subs, Tater Tots, Broccoli, Pineapple and Dessert
Tuesday May 13th - Beef Taco Salad, Spanish Rice, Corn Chips, Pears and Dessert
Thursday, May 15th - Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, Mozzarella Stuffed Breadstick, Cauliflower, Peaches and Dessert
Tuesday, May 20th - Meatloaf, Brown Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Cinnamon Applesauce and Dessert
Thursday, May 22nd - Sloppy Joe, Tater Tots, Corn on the Cob, Grapes and Dessert
Tuesday, May 27th - Sausage Penne, Dinner Roll, Peas, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
