Former Ellsworth Eagle Devin Grindle Named NAC Baseball Player of the Week

Former Ellsworth Eagle, Devin Grindle was named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Week for Baseball on Monday, March 14th.

Grindle is now a senior at Thomas College. Last week for the Terriers he hit 4 home runs, scored 9 times, and drove home 7 runs with 11 hits over 8 games. The infielder smashed a double, drew two walks, and stole three bases during his .393 week.

He hit ta homer to start the week against Anna Maria, then launched two more in a 10-3 win against Penn State-Altoona later the same afternoon. The senior game-changer smashed another home run and logged 3 RBIs in a 5-4 win over UMass-Dartmouth on Friday.

On defense, Grindle was errorless with seven putouts across the week

Thomas is 2-10 on their Spring Trip with 4 games remaining. They open their Maine schedule on Friday, April 1st with a game at Bowdoin.
