Former Ellsworth Eagle, Callie Hammer was named the North Atlantic Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week!

In a press release dated October 7th, it was noted that Callie Hammer started two games in goal this week, for UMaine Farmington, including a rematch of last year's NAC Championship against Thomas. Hammer made 11 saves in the shutout against Thomas, and later made 9 saves against SUNY Delhi for a total of 20 saves this week. Hammer's goals-against-average was 0.49 and her weekly save percentage reached .952 as the Beavers went 3-0 on the week.

Hammer leads the NAC in saves so far this season with 90.

UMaine Farmington is tied for 3rd in the North Atlantic Conference with a 2-2-1 record and has an overall record of 4-7-1. They are scheduled to play at Bates on Sunday, October 13th at 2PM
