If you haven't heard, the buzz about last night's Vice-Presidential Debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Kamala Harris  had nothing to do with what the two had to say. More it was about the fly that landed on the head of the Vice President.

According to the New York Times, the fly stayed perched on Vice President Pence's head for 2 minutes and 3 seconds, and watching it, it was the most uncomfortable 2 minutes ever on TV. I thought initially it was a fly on my television, and got up to brush it away. Then I realized it was on the Vice President's head.

I couldn't believe that he didn't try to swat it away, but then thought, how would that look on television. Being on radio, I can move my hand all over when talking and you never know it. But on a debate stage? That had to take incredible will not to swat it away, and then Vice President would have been criticized for swatting at it, or worse, smooshing it into his head.

It was a no-win 2 minutes and 3 seconds and I finally breathed a sigh of relief when it flew away. Now, I can't wait until Saturday Night Live this Saturday night, because you just have to know there is going to be a skit about the fly, probably to open the show!
