Flu Bug Impacting Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox take on the Detroit Tigers Friday afternoon with the pregame starting at 12:25 and 1st pitch at 1:10 on AM 1370 WDEA, but the Red Sox will play today's game without Hanley Ramirez and Mookie Betts who are battling the flu. Brock Holt who had the flu and missed the 1st 2 games of the season will DH and hit lead-off.
The Red Sox also placed left handed reliever Robbie Ross on the 10 day disabled list retroactive to April 3rd as he deals with the flu. The Red Sox recalled Devan Marrero from Triple A Pawtucket to take his place on the roster.
