First Hoop Program Nets Ellsworth High School $2250

Wednesday, January 29th was the last regular season home basketball game at Ellsworth High School. At halftime, representatives of First National Bank presented Athletic Director Josh Frost with a check for $2250

The First Hoop Program allows a lucky fan to take a free throw at halftime of every home game. Depending upon certain criteria, each school participating in the First Hoop Program may earn up to $150 per game. The lucky fan also walks away with a First National basketball regardless if they make the free throw or not.

Now more than ten seasons strong, First Hoop has donated over $200,000 to the participating high schools' athletic programs.
