Fire in Ellsworth [VIDEO]

The former Betty's Hilltop Restaurant on the top of the Hill near the new Dunkin Donuts was fully engulfed in flames on Tuesday night, April 4th. The site was to be the home of the new China Hill Restaurant. The restaurant was undergoing renovations.

The call came into 9-1-1 at approximately 10:43 PM. The building was fully involved. The Hancock County Sheriff's Department is advising that you should avoid High Street from Short Street south to Kingsland Crossing. The road was closed. Those traveling south of Ellsworth, should use Myrick Street as an alternate route.
