Era of 8-Man Football Begins at MDI High School [PHOTOS]

It was sunny but 49 degrees, at 6 a.m. Monday morning, August 16th, when just under 20 players took to the field at MDI High School for the start of the 2021 Football season, and the beginning of 8-man football

The team started with stretching and conditioning and moved right into special teams practice as they prepare for a controlled scrimmage next Monday afternoon with Ellsworth and Washington Academy at Ellsworth High School at 5 p.m. and then a scrimmage on Friday August 27th vs. Orono at 6 p.m.

After a year lost to COVID MDI Football and High School Football in Maine is back!
