The Emerson Tigers defeated Mount Desert Elementary on Thursday, February 10th for the Boy's Island Middle School Championship.

Note- There was some concern why this took so long to be posted and why there weren't photos similar to the Girls story. While I understand, and appreciate those who reached out, Thursday night and most of Friday I was involved in the coverage of the Bluenose Inn fire. It was on my list of stories to write, but it kept getting pushed down the list as the weekend went by, with other stories and the fact that there are only 24 hours in a day, and there's just me.
