
Ellsworth Woman Dies; Man Charged with Furnishing Drugs
An Ellsworth man faces charges of furnishing drugs after an Ellsworth woman was found dead Friday morning.
Police, who were called to the scene, found Jessica Kane, 22, unconscious and not breathing at a Shore Road residence in Ellsworth at about 9 a.m.
As a result of the investigation, Jaret J. E. Patten, 23, was arrested for unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs, police said in a news release.
The cause of death is currently under investigation.
Additional charges are possible, police said.
