Ellsworth Volleyball Falls to Gardiner 3-1

The Ellsworth Volleyball Team traveled down to Gardiner on Tuesday, October 10th, falling to the Tigers in 4 sets, 3-1. The individual set scores were 16-25, 18-25, 26-24 and 20-25.

Individual Ellsworth Standouts included

• Brielle Grindle-3 aces, 8 kills, 1 assist, 8 digs
• Ava VanDorn-2 aces, 9 assists, 10 digs
• Olivia Harmon 3 aces, 2 kills, 11 assists, 11 digs
• Sophie Beal- 5 kills, 3 blocks, 1 assist, 10 digs
• Brooke Pirie-4 kills, 3 blocks

Coach Dyer: said “We could not get our game going today. Tomorrow we get back in the gym and make some adjustments.”

Gardiner is now 8-4 and will host Brunswick on Thursday, October 12th at 5:30 p.m.

Ellsworth is now 6-5 and will host Washington Academy on Thursday, October 12th at 6 p.m.
