The scheduled game between the Ellsworth Eagles and Stearns Minutemen on Friday night, October 25th has been moved to Saturday afternoon, October 26th.

The reason for the forced rescheduling of the game is that there were not enough officials able to referee the game on Friday night.

The Eagles are having their best year since football was reinstated at Ellsworth High School, with a 6-1 record.

Stearns is having a excellent year, as they are 1st in the Crabtree Small School 8-man standings with a 6-1 record as well. Stearns' lone loss came against Greely on September 20th when they lost 42-40.

The lack of officials for all sports is impacting the scheduling throughout the State. If you are interested in learning more about becoming an official, for any sport, please contact the Athletic Director at your local high school and they will put you in touch with the appropriate individual.
