Ellsworth Shuts Out Nokomis 8-0 Moves On to Semi-Finals

The Ellsworth Eagles beat the Nokomis Warriors 8-0 on Thursday, June 7th in Ellsworth, in a Class B North Quarterfinal as Conner Wagstaff struck out 15 batters and the Ellsworth banged out 12 hits.

Wagstaff was dominating, striking out 8 swinging and 7 looking.. He struck out the side in the 3rd and 7th innings. He allowed just 3 hits and walked 1

Andy Hopkins had 2 singles and Gabe Gilley had a single for Nokomis.

For Ellsworth Bradly Smith, Austin Baron and Jared Hamilton had 2 singles. Jackson Curtis had a double and single  Jack Lee, Matt Burnett, Christopher Barnes and Tyler Mitchell each had a single.
