Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries After Ellsworth Crash [UPDATE]

A 62-year-old man has died from his injuries after his motorcycle struck a utility pole in Ellsworth.

WABI-TV reports that Dana Wright was riding his motorcycle on Water Street in Ellsworth around 7:30 Sunday night when the bike struck a utility pole, near the intersection with Franklin Street. Police say Wright wasn't wearing a helmet and that speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
