Ellsworth High School’s Connor Crawford Chosen to Participate in 2020 Shrine Football Game

Congratulations to Ellsworth High School's Connor Crawford who was selected to participate in the 2020 Shrine Football Game.

The game is scheduled to be played on  Saturday, July 18th, at Hill Stadium on the Thornton Academy campus in Saco. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.

Crawford was a Fitzpatrick Award semifinalist and will be attending Maine Maritime Academy in the Fall of 2020

According to the Ellsworth American  Crawford rushed for 1,632 yards and 22 touchdowns and passed for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns on offense and recorded 39 solo tackles, 12 assisted tackles, 1 interception and 1 sack on defense in his senior year. . He finished his career as an Eagle with 3,901 rushing yards, 44 rushing touchdowns, 15 passing touchdowns, 114 solo tackles, 54 assisted tackles, 3 interception-return touchdowns and 2 kick-return touchdowns.
