Ellsworth High School and Youth Football Programs to Hold Pet Food Drive Monday August 14

Monday, August 14th will be a busy day at Ellsworth High School. That's the 1st Day of Fall Sports, with teams conducting tryouts and practices. It's also an important day for the animals temporarily (we hope!) living  at the SPCA of Hancock County!

The Ellsworth High School Football Team and Ellsworth Youth Football Program will be at the High School from  8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on  Monday, August 14th collecting pet food. All the food will be dropped off at the SPCA of Hancock County!

For the past few years the Eagles have been accepting pet food and non-perishable food items prior to the start of their home games, and plan on doing so again this season.

The Football Team practices for the 1st time Monday August 14th from 5 to 8 p.m.

• Friday August 25 vs. Houlton 5 p.m. (Exhibition)
• Saturday September 2 at Dexter 1 p.m.
• Friday September 8 vs. Valley 6 p.m.
• Friday September 15 at Orono 7 p.m.
• Friday September 22 at Mattanawcook Academy 7 p.m.
• Friday September 29 vs. Stearns 7 p.m.
• Friday October 6 vs. Bucksport 7 p.m.
• Friday October 13 at Houlton 7 p.m.
