Ellsworth Girls Tennis to Host WA on Wednesday, May 29th

The Ellsworth Girls Tennis Team will play host to Washington Academy on Wednesday, May 29th at 3:30 in the Class B North Semifinals.

The Ellsworth Eagles are the 2nd seed and Washington Academy the 7th seed. Washington Academy advanced, after defeating Medoamk Valley, the 10th seed in East Machias on Tuesday, May 28th.

The Quarterfinal Match was originally scheduled to be played on Thursday, May 30th, but as has been the case all Spring, Mother Nature needs to have her say, and the weather for Thursday is calling mostly cloudy skies with showers in the night.

The winner of the Ellsworth-Washington Academy Quarterfinals will take on the Erskine Academy - (Foxcroft Academy-Brewer) winner in the semifinals on Saturday, June 1st. Should Ellsworth win, they would host the semifinals.
