Ellsworth Girl’s Tennis Nipped by Washington Academy 3-2

The Ellsworth Girl's Tennis Team dropped their opening match of the season, losing 3-2 to the Washington Academy Raiders in East Machias.

Individual match results were

1st Singles - Bailey Clarke lost 5-8
2nd Singles - Megan Jordan lost 3-8
3rd Singles - Brianne Kane won 8-2
1st Doubles - Grace Gumpp and Abby Bland lost 6-8
2nd Doubles - Kahlan Keene and Miah Coffin won 8-4

Ellsworth will have a chance to get a little revenge, as their next match is Friday, April 29th when they host Washington Academy at 3:30 p.m.
