It's been a long long 7 years! There have been lots of tears, lots of sweats, incredible amount of hard work and a little blood along the way, but finally, the Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team won their 1st playoff game in 7 years, beating the Foxcroft Academy Ponies in Dover-Foxcroft 3-0 on Friday, October 25th

The Eagles, the 9th seed received goals from Addi Laslie (15:21) and Sierra Andrews (8:09) to take a 2-0 lead at the end of the 1st Half. Andrews also assisted on Laslie's goal.

Paige Sawyer added an insurance goal for the Eages with 31:59 remaining in the 2nd Half.

Kayla Duhaime recorded the shutout for Ellsworth, while Olivia Hill was in net for the Ponies.

Ellsworth now 6-8-1 will take on the top seeded Hermon Hawks on Tuesday, October 29th at 5PM.
