Ellsworth Girls Soccer Tames Ponies 3-2

The Ellsworth Girl's Soccer team defeated the Foxcroft Academy Ponies in Dover Foxcroft on Wednesday, October 15th by the score of 3-2.

Scoring for the Ellsworth Eagles were Lauren Hale, Kacie Omlor and Emily Berry.

Joanna Panciera and Grace Bickford each scored for Foxcroft Academy with assists from Kendra Ewer and Cassidy Panciera.

Ellsworth goalie Callie  Hammer had 6 saves on 11 shots while Foxcroft goalie Alisha Thomas made 15 saves on 22 shots.

Ellsworth improved to 3-9 and play their final two games are at Caribou on Saturday, October 18th at 1 PM and at Bar Harbor against the MDI Trojans on Monday, October 20th at 6 PM.

Foxcroft Academy fell to 0-12 on the season.  The Ponies final two games are at Old Town on Saturday, October 18th at 1 PM and in Hermon on Monday, October 20th at 6:30 PM.
