Ellsworth Girls Soccer Shuts Out Foxcroft Academy 2-0

The Ellsworth Eagles Girls Soccer Team shut out the Foxcroft Academy Ponies in Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday afternoon, October 6th, winning 2-0.

The score was 0-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half, Addi Laslie scored what would be the winning goal, off of a penalty kick with 37:02 remaining in the 2nd Half. Sidney Hamilton scored her 1st goal of the season with an assist from Katie Hammer with 10:37 remaining in the game.

Kylie Robidoux was in goal for Ellsworth and Emelia Grant was in goal for Foxcroft Academy.

Ellsworth is 5-7 on the season with 2 regular season games remaining. They play at Washington Academy on Thursday, October 11th at 4PM and then finish the regular season at home, on Senior Recognition Night against MDI on Tuesday, October 16th at 6PM.

Foxcroft Academy is 4-7 and plays home against Old Town on Monday, October 8th at 4PM.
