The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team fell to the Hermon Hawks 5-1 at Pottle Field in Hermon on Wednesday, October 16th.

Hermon jumped out to a 3-0 lead at the end of the 1st Half. Lindsee Reed scored with 33:51 left in the Half, scoring on a penalty kick. Sydney Gallop then scored 2 goals, the 1st assisted by Allison Cameron with 19:47 left and then unassisted with 11;36 remaining.

Sierra Andrews scored for Ellsworth, with just 1:31 gone in the 2nd Half, with an assist from Lexi Rossi, to make the score 3-1

But Gallop scored her 3rd goal of the game with 32:42 remaining and Maddie Baker scored the final goal for Hermon, with 29:57 left in the game.

Ellsworth is 5-7-1 and has 1 game left in the regular season, at MDI on Monday, October 21st at 6 PM.

Hermon is undefeated, with a record of 12-0. They travel to Presque Isle on Saturday, October 19th at 1 PM before closing out the regular season on Monday, October 21st at home against Old Town at 6 PM
