The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team received goals from 6 different girls, en route to a 7-1 win over the Foxcroft Academy Ponies in Dover-Foxcroft on Thursday, September 26th.

Samantha Carter started the scoring for Ellsworth with just 40 seconds gone in the game, with an assist from Emma Whitney.

Paige Sawyer scored the 1st of her 2 goals 4 minutes and 24 seconds later, to put Ellsworth up 2-0

Foxcroft Academy brought the Ponies within 1 goal when Olivia Wesley scored on a penalty kick with 32:41 remaining in the 1st Half.

Lillian Frank scored the final goal of the 1st Half, with 24:18 remaining, with assists from Addi Laslie and Paige Sawyer.

Ellsworth led 3-1 at the end of the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half Sawyer scored her 2nd goal with 4 minutes and 49 seconds gone. Laslie made it 5-1 not even 3 minutes later.

Sierra Andrews scored with 30:08 remaining, with an assist from Laslie, her 2nd assist of the game.

Morgan Clifford finished the scoring for Ellsworth with 18:37 remaining with an assist from Jordan Berry.

Kayla Duhaime was in goal for Ellsworth while Sadie Avellar was in goal for Foxcroft Academy.

Ellsworth is now 3-3 and will play host to John Bapst on Saturday, September 28th at 10AM

Foxcroft Academy is 2-3-1 and travels to Presque Isle on Saturday, September 28th at 1PM
