Ellsworth Girls Soccer 3 WA 1

The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team took the long trip to East Machias on Thursday, September 21st and the bus ride back was a happy one, after the Eagles defeated the Washington Academy Raiders 3-1!

Margo Kenyon, Emma Whitney and Sierra Andrews all found the back of the net for Ellsworth in the 1st Half. Washington Academy scored their lone goal on a penalty kick in the end of the 1st Half to make the score 3-1 Ellsworth, and that's the way the game ended.

Marissa Havey was in goal and picked up the win.

Ellsworth is now 2-5 and will play host to Presque Isle on Tuesday, September 26th at 5:30 PM.

Washington Academy is 0-6 and hosts Hermon on Saturday, September 23rd at 1 PM.
