The Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team took the long drive up I-95 to Caribou on Saturday, returning home late Saturday night with a 5-0 shutout win.

Addi Laslie put the Eagles up 1-0 with a goal with 24:46 remaining in the 1st Half, with an assist from Abby Bland.

Paige Sawyer scored with 18:55 remaining to make it  2-0. That's the way the 1st Half ended, with the Eagles leading 2-0

In the 2nd Half, Tori Watkins scored with 27:37 remaining, assisted by Casey Carter.

Laslie made it 4-0 with her 2nd goal of the game, assisted by Kiera Springer with 24:48 remaining.

Finally, Sawyer converted a penalty kick, with 4:54 left in the game to make the final score 4-0.

Ellsworth, now 7-1 will play undefeated Hermon on Tuesday, October 5th at Hermon

Caribou, 1-7-1 hosts Hermon on Saturday October 9th.
