After Monday's victory in East Machias, it looks all but certain that the Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team will be playing in a prelim playoff game, ending a 5 year playoff drought. On Monday, October 15th, the Eagles shut out Washington Academy 5-0.

Sierra Andrews scored a hat trick for Ellsworth, tallying 2 goals in the 1st Half and adding another in the 2nd Half. Also scoring for Ellsworth was senior Kiana Maddocks-Wilbur and freshman Addi Laslie.

Kylie Robidoux was in goal for Ellsworth.

The Eagles, now 6-7 will play their final regulast season game at home, on Senior Recognition Night at Del Luce Stadium against MDI on Tuesday, October 16th at 6PM.

Washington Academy is 3-10 and will play their final game on Tuesday October 16th at Deer Isle Stonington.
