Ellsworth Football Hosting Pet Food Donation Drive Saturday June 18

As you are out and about this Saturday, June 18th, please don't forget that the Ellsworth Football Team is hosting a Pet Food Donation Drive from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ellsworth High School.

The demand for pet food is huge. With the rising prices, there are more and more individuals who are being put in the position of feeding their human family or feeding their pet family. It's a choice that is heartbreaking because were it not for inflation and the rising prices, the pets and humans were one giant family.

Having to surrender a pet for whatever reason is heartbreaking and tears a family's emotional bonds. Your donation to the Pet Food Donation Drive can help keep everyone together.

In addition to families who need the pet food, the SPCA of Hancock County has an urgent need for wet and dry cat food. They are overrun with kittens and cats, and your donations will help allow them not to use funds to purchase food.
