The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team picked up a huge Heal Point worthy win over the Presque Isle Wildcats on Wednesday, October 9th at Del Luce Stadium by the score of 2-1.

The win moved Ellsworth from the 10th and final playoff spot up to 7th in the Class B North Heal Point Standings, with 3 games left to play, and a potential home prelim playoff game. The 7th-10th seeded teams will play in prelim games, with the 7th and 8th seeded teams having home games.

On Wednesday night Tulas Weaver put Ellsworth up 1-0 scoring on a penalty kick at the 18th minute.

The score was 1-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

Presque Isle tied the score at the 57th minute before Pascal Poirier scored the game winner off of an assist from Sam Holler at the 62nd minute.

Ellsworth is now 3-7-1 and will play at MCI who are the 6th seed, on Saturday, October 12th at 11AM

Presque Isle, now 8-2 will play at Old Town on Monday, October 14th at 3 PM.
