Ellsworth Boys Fall to Hermon on Saturday 59-42

The Ellsworth Boys Basketball Team fell to the Hermon Hawks at Hermon, 59-42 on Saturday afternoon January 5th

Hermon led 18-10 at the end of the 1st Quarter, and 30-19 at the end of the 1st Half. The Hawks also led 44-29 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Brett Bragdon with 10 points and Jackson Curtis with 7 points. The Eagles hit 6 3's, 2 by Brett Bragdon, and 1 each by David Grindle, Norman Jodrey, Noah Neleski and Jackson Curtis. The Eagles were 6-10 from the free throw line

Hermon was led by Garret Trask with a game high 19 points. Cody Hawes and Eli Reed each had 9 points. Hermon hit 4 3's, 1 each by Hawes, Trask, Reed and Dylan Leighton. Hermon was 13-17 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 5-3 and plays at Washington Academy on Monday, January 7th at 6:30PM with the pregame starting at 6:15 on AM 1370 WDEA, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device.

Hermon is undefeated at 8-0 and will play host to John Bapst on Tuesday, January 8th at 7PM.
