Ellsworth Boys Beat Lawrence 71-54 in Preseason Game

The Ellsworth Boy's Basketball Team beat Lawrence 71-54 on Tuesday, November 28th down in Fairfield.

Ellsworth led 18-6 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 37-23 at the end of the 1st Half. The Eagles led 65-40 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ellsworth was led by Chance Mercier with a team-high 17 points. Braden King had 11 points and Miles Palmer finished with 10 points. The Eagles sank 7 3-pointers in the game. Palmer had 3 3's. Mercier, Josiah James-Chin, Braden King and Hollis Grindal all drained a 3-pointer. The Eagles were 8-11 from the free throw line.

Lawrence was led by Dane Zawistowki with 17 points. Gavin Lunt had 10 points and Michael Hamlin had 8 points. The Bulldogs had 9 3-pointers in the game. Zawistowski led the way with 4 3's. Hamlin sank 2 3's. Cole Quirion, Trevor Pellerin and Calvin Blodgett each sank 1 3-pointer. The Bulldogs were 3-7 from the free throw line.
