The Ellsworth Baseball Team remained undefeated, improving to 10-0 on the season as Matt Burnett and Jackson Curtis combined to 1 hit the Brewer Witches. The Eagles won 3-0 on Thursday, May 16th in Ellsworth.
Burnett picked up the save for Ellsworth, throwing 6 innings, striking out 12 and walking 3. He allowed just 1 hit. Curtis pitched the final inning, striking out 2.
Ellsworth scored 1 run in the 5th and added 2 insurance runs in the 6th inning.
