Ellsworth and MDI Release Fall 2021 Football Schedules

The 2021 Fall Football schedules were released on Thursday, June 10th and Ellsworth and MDI will be playing in the 8-man Large School League. There are 13 8-man Large Schools and 13 8-man Small Schools. Here are the Ellsworth and MDI schedules.

The season will begin on August 21st or 23rd with controlled scrimmages at Ellsworth High School with Ellsworth, MDI and Washington Academy participating. The first regular season game will be played on Friday September 3rd or Saturday September 4th and the last regular season game will be played Friday night October 15th at MDI when the Trojans host Ellsworth.

Ellsworth Schedule

• August 21 or 23 - Controlled Scrimmage vs. MDI and Washington Academy
• August 27 or 28 - Exhibition vs. Orono
• September 3-4  vs. Houlton
• September 10-11 vs. Camden Hills
• September 17-18 at Waterville
• September 24-25 vs. Washington Academy
• October 1-2 at Morse
• October 8-9 vs. Dexter
• October 15 at MDI

MDI Schedule

• August 21 or 23 - Controlled Scrimmage at Ellswoth with Washington Academy
• August 27 or 28 - Exhibition vs. Mattanawcook Academy
• September 3-4  at Washington Academy
• September 10-11 vs. Morse
• September 17-18 at Orono
• September 24-25 at Stearns
• October 1-2  vs. Camden Hills
• October 8-9 at Waterville
• October 15 vs. Ellsworth
