Ellsworth Boys Double up the Ponies 6-3

The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team doubled up Foxcroft Academy 6-3 on Saturday, October 6th, in Dover-Foxcroft for the Eagles 2nd win of the season.

Foxcroft Academy took a 3-2 lead ath the end of the 1st Half. The Ponies scored with 30:42 remaining, 11:23 remaining and 5:37 remaining. Pascal Poirier scored for Ellsworth with 26:26 left and Nate Mason scored with 16:19 with an assist from Lucas Jordan.

In the 2nd Half, Carter Frank scored his 2nd career goal with 26:02 left to tie the score at 3-3. Nate Mason then scored with 21:01 and 14:18 left, for a hat trick to make the score 5-3 Ellsworth. Ellsworth is now 2-9-1 with 2 games remaining in the regular season. They play at Washington Academy on Wednesday, October 10th at 4 PM, and then finish the season at home against MDI on Senior Recognition Night on Monday, October 15th at 6PM.

Foxcroft Academy 4-8 has 2 games remaining at MDI on Thursday, October 11th at 4PM and then at home against Mount View on Monday, October 15th at 4PM.
