EHS Boys Soccer Beats Hermon 1-0 in OT

The Ellsworth Eagles Boys Soccer Team beat the Hermon Hawks at Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth, Wednesday, September 13th 1-0 in overtime.

After 80 minutes, the score was 0-0 at the end of regulation. With 1:15 gone in the first overtime period, Peyton Cole found the back of the net for Ellsworth, scoring the golden goal, and giving Ellsworth the 1-0 win in overtime.

Ellsworth had 8 shots on goal in the game.

Ellsworth, now 3-1-1 will play John Bapst at UMaine on Saturday, September 16th at 1 PM.

Hermon, now 2-2 will play host to Brewer on Tuesday, September 19th at 6 PM.
