The Ellsworth Boys Soccer Team improved to 2-0 on the season defeating the Belfast Lions in Belfast on Tuesday, September 5th 6-1.

Belfast scored first to take a 1-0, scoring with 2:55 gone in the 1st Half. But Ellsworth scored 3 times in the 1st Half to take a 3-1 lead. Andrew McCullough scored for Ellsworth with 6:20 elapsed.  Dylan Taplin scored with an assist from Peyton Cole with  17:50 remaining in the half and Bradly Smith scored with 5:22  remaining in the 1st Half.

In the second half Bradly Smith scored with an assist from Jack Lee with 33:52 remaining.  Zach Harris scored with 26:49 left  and Nate Mason scored the last goal, his first varsity goal with an assist from Sam Holler with 3:26 remaining in the game.

Ellsworth 2-0 plays host to Mount View from Thorndike in Del Luce Stadium in Ellsworth on Friday night, September 8th at 6 PM.

Belfast 0-2 plays at Mount View on Thursday, September 7th at 3:30 PM
