The Ellsworth Boy's Baseball blanked the Hermon Hawks on Monday, May 8th 5-0 in a game that was worth a ton of Heal Points for the Eagles. Ellsworth is now 4-2 on the season and Hermon is 5-2.

Conner Wagstaff pitched 6.2 innings, picking up the win,  allowing just 3 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 5. Brad Smith pitched to the final batter striking out Matthew Leach.

For Ellsworth Sam Giffin and Sam Horne each had 2 singles. Jared Hamilton and Brad Smith each had a single. Horne drove in 2 RBI's.

Alex Applebee took the loss for Hermon throwing 3 2/3 innings, allowing 5 runs, on 6 hits. He walked 4 and struck out 2. Garrett Trask pitched the final 2 1/3 innings, walking 4. He didn't strike out anyone nor did he allow a hit.

For Hermon, Mark Mailloux had 2 singles and Matthew Leach had 1 single.

Ellsworth, now 3-3 plays at Foxcroft Academy on Wednesday, May 10th at 4:30 PM.

Hermon now 5-2 plays host to John Bapst on Tuesday, May 9th at 4:30 PM.
