One of the best things about Easter are Easter Egg Hunts! Throughout the years with my children growing up the Easter Bunny used to come to our house and hide eggs inside, and occasionally outside. Depending upon when Easter fell, sometimes there would still be snow on the ground! Luckily, with Easter being "late" this year on Sunday, April 17th, the Easter Egg Hunts should be snow free!

Sunday April 10

The River Church - Town Hill 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Palm Sunday Family 'Eggstravaganza' Event!  Journey through fun-filled Interactive stations, that include crafts and games celebrating  Jesus is alive! This walk-thru family experience ends with a huge egg hunt with over 1300 eggs! All kids that come will be entered to win a new bike or hoverboard! For every friend you bring you get another chance to win!

Saturday April 16

Bar Harbor Inn 10 a.m. The Hunt will be broken out into 3 sections - 1 for Children 4 and Under, 1 for Children 5 to 7 and 1 for Children ages 8 and older. The Easter Bunny will be there so children can have their picture taken with him at the Gazebo. Bar Harbor Inn staff will be passing out free craft kits. Some of the eggs hidden will be special golden eggs, containing gift certificates to the Bar Harbor Inn Terrace Grill, Reading Room Restaurant, Spa and even overnight accommodations!

MDI YMCA  Easter Egg Hunt, Swim and Preschool Open House. 21 Park Street Bar Harbor. The Easter Egg Hunt is at 10 a.m. Preschool Open House 10:30-11:30 a.m. and Easter Egg Family Swim 10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon. The Easter Egg Hunt is planned to be on the Town Ballfield, with 2 groups, Toddlers and Preschoolers and then Children in Grades K-3. In the event of inclement weather the Hunt will take place inside the YMCA.  The Preschool Program Open House will allow you to meet with staff, see the space with child(ren) and pickup information about the program and make a fun craft.  Suggested donation for the Hunt and Family Swim is $5.00/child with a maximum of $10/family
