The Boston Red Sox beat the Houston Astros 5-4 as Jarren Duran went 4-4 at the plate, hitting a 2-out solo game-winning homer in the 8th inning.

Duran also had a double, his 38th of the season to go along with his 17th homer.

Tristan Casas hit his 7th homer, and 1st homer back from the injured list in the 1st inning. He ended up the night 2-3 with 3 runs knocked in.

Wilyer Abreu, batting 2nd was 1-2 with a double, his 26th of the season

Ceddanne Rafaela had a double, his 17th of the season, and was 1-4

At the plate Nick Pivetta started and went 5.0 innings, allowing 6 hits and 5 runs. He struck out 2 and walked 3.

Kenley Jensen, a night after allowing the game-winning homer in the 9th inning, pitched the 9th, retiring the side in order for his 24th save.

Boston and Houston will play the final game of the 3-game series on Wednesday afternoon. The pregame starts ag 1:10 with the 1st pitch at 2:10 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.
