Dense Fog Advisory for Downeast Maine Friday June 28
Go ahead look out your window if you're in Downeast Maine! What do you see? Probably not much as visibility was near 0 on Friday morning at 5:25 and there was a dense fog advisory in effect until 8AM
The photo was taken from barharborcam.com at 5:25 AM from a cam attached to the Bar Harbor Inn overlooking Frenchman Bay. You can barely see the dock where the Margaret Todd is berthed.
The fog should burn off today and it will be one of the warmest days, so far, of 2019! Today's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs will be in the high 70s. Winds will be Southwesterly 5 to 10 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation 20 percent.
If you haven't bookmarked barharborcam.com you should! There are a couple of Bar Harbor cams, a Northeast Harbor cam, a cam from the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound as well as a cam focused on the Somesville Bridge.
