Delays Getting On/Off the Island

There are significant traffic delays getting on and off Mount Desert Island on Wednesday evening, November 8th as there has been an accident on the bridge by the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound.

Traffic has been reduced to one lane. You'll want to bring a book, a magazine and some patience. Remember what your mother always told you too, "Go to the bathroom before you get into the car"
